(This is going to be a two post trip again because I have a lot of photos and despite the fact that I have a double sleep in period tomorrow, it's late.)
Now that I have come home from my weekly skating lesson and finished the homework that is due tomorrow, I have time to update on the recent school trip to Paris. I am well over the halfway point of my time here, am completely at ease with my life in France and it still is amazing to be able to say very casually that my school takes trips to Paris.
Now I am not going to write down every detail from this trip because it would take about five pages and I sincerely doubt anyone wants to read that. So instead, I am going to focus on the highlights of what was a spectacular way to start off the winter break.

The next day after visiting the Picasso museum included a block of a few free hours so we went to visit the Eiffel Tower and E.C. managed to convince me, rightly so, to go up. We went up to the second level and despite the numbingly cold wind, the view was breathtaking. For a brief few minutes while we were up there, the sun even came out.
To be continued....
